About

The moment the door opens, the sound of a pen ringing out from somewhere seems to welcome the visitor. That pen was both Balzac's pen name and the tool that guided his life. On the calm table lie notes, handwritten letters, and now and then a manuscript titled 'Le Père Goriot,' making it feel as though the characters from his novels are still wandering through his mind at night. Light seeping between the walls quietly underpins his writing, carrying the visitor to a corner of a 19th-century Paris room. This is a place to slowly walk through the characters born in his mind and the world he created.
