Looking at the etymology of the French 'blanc' (white) and the English 'black,' there is a view that both words derive from roots related to light, fire, or combustion, suggesting that brightness and darkness are not opposites but concepts derived from a single origin. The roughly 20 works from the collection introduced in this exhibition focus intensively on exploring 'how' the artist represents a subject, consisting of pieces that leave performative traces on the surface — such as repetition and layering, copying and accumulation, drawing lines and emptying. 'Panorama' refers not to a single viewpoint but to the continuous scene created when different works are placed side by side.
