Instead of a panoramic window, stepping into the niches surrounding the sculptures, light flows wrapped around the delicate edges of the carvings. Here, in a space that treats the niche itself as an object, unfamiliar ceramics and sculptures draw visitors into a stillness that seems to rush toward them. Among the many sculptures, especially striking are the Italian wooden carvings placed atop gilded stone niches, their curves carrying a movement as if born from music. The niches embrace the stillness of the sculptures circling the space, guiding visitors' footsteps into the depth of the carvings. This is a place where, the moment sculpture merges into the niche, time and space blend together and seem to hold their breath as one.
