Stepping through the door, with every footstep climbing the iron stairs, sounds of the past echo through the air. Sunlight seeping through the windows draws shadows across the floor. A force cuts through the air as though the wings of fighter planes were still frozen mid-flight. Huge louvers cover the ceiling, and a gravity that seems to continue a page of war wraps around the seating area.
