Walking along alleyways where the hot wind of Gaochang District seeps in, stone-piled walls suddenly bring visitors' footsteps to a halt. This museum is a center of knowledge hidden in the desert like an oasis, where light flowing between earth-toned walls gently wraps around traces of the ancient past. On one wall of the gallery hangs a clay sculpture, its surface patterns seeming to flow along with the desert wind.
