This is a place where tens of thousands of fishing implements, bearing the touch of those who guarded the sea and the traces of the wind, draw in the visitor's gaze. Wooden boats bearing the marks of ancient fishermen's hands fill the exhibition hall, slowly revealing humanity's quiet will toward the sea. Light seeping through windowpanes as pure as a child's eyes deepens the faint glimmer of the fishing gear. In a space where the lives of those who battled the sea seem to have settled like sculpture, the stories of an unfamiliar sea can be heard as if whispered. Lingering here and there in the exhibition hall, the breath of the sea brushes past your fingertips, and the breath of old fishermen seeps in as a complex, mingled presence.
