Walking along the banks of Suzhou's canals, with the sound of flowing water on one side and the shadow of a quiet garden on the other, you come upon the Suzhou Museum. Following the building's faint traces at a slow pace, visitors step quietly inside as if turning a page from antiquity. The exhibition hall's walls are made of stone and wood that gleam in the light, and above them the garden scenery seems to flow like a painting. The traces of the gardens left behind in Wen Zhengming's paintings still fill the air of the museum today. In this quiet space, a sense of touching the traces of time gone by seeps in.
