This is a space where the sound of a locomotive's engine still seems to linger in the air. The arrangement of old train models, seemingly suspended vertically from the ceiling, creates a stillness as if time itself had come to a halt. Walking among the displayed railway cars, one feels at once the weight and the precision of past means of transportation. This is not simply an exhibition space but one steeped in the history the railway has carried forward and the lives of the people connected to it. Visitors feel as though they have become railway workers of the past, walking that same path.
