About
Standing on ancient ground, this city was once the center of the ancient Scythian kingdom and preserves traces of the Taurians recorded by Herodotus. Firmly seated atop a limestone cliff, this city was once the seat of the Scythian kings, and their relics still lie sleeping underground. Old stone pillars stand quietly over land that stretches out like scales, and the sounds of the past still envelop this land. Sunlight seeping through the gaps of the tombs blends with the shadows of the ruins, letting one feel the weight of time. Now, beyond being merely an archaeological site, the spirit of the Scythians still seems to watch over this place.
