It was originally a brewery built on land once used to grow sugar beets, but it has now become a space steeped in the history and flavor of Sapporo Beer. Inside the red brick building, invisible beer foam seems to fill the air, and a quiet, scattered murmur calls to mind the manufacturing processes of the past. The low ceilings and wide open spaces seem to hold the breath of workers who once spoke in low voices inside a distillery. The scent of old machinery permeates the air, and within that scent lingers the lyrical origin of Sapporo Beer. Here, visitors come to realize that beer is not merely a drink, but one that carries time and feeling within it.
