Walking along a quiet alley in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, a building with stone columns and a dome roof glimmering in the sunlight catches the eye. That building was once a palace built for a world's fair, but has now become a master that holds the art of Paris within it. The Ionic columns surrounding the courtyard make one forget time, and the design by sculptor Jean-Antoine Injalbert still watches over the place. The exhibition halls are divided into two sections, with ancient Egyptian artifacts and representative Impressionist works each holding different eras. Visitors, walking along the quiet corridors, can lose themselves within the flow of art.
