Pampus

Museum Pampus sits at the end of a quiet street in Muiden, the Netherlands. At the entrance, cutting through the stillness of the street, the faint sound of waves flows along the concrete floor. The exhibition space looks like an unbounded empty room, yet somewhere within it, a round sculpture floats and exists quietly, like a flounder rising within water. Faint light seeps between the structures, and shadow and form move together, following one another. Within a flow of silhouettes that seems to draw visitors into the sea, they forget time as they sense the identity of these wave-like forms.
