About
Within this building, where traces of an old railway still remain, the breath of Impressionism still flows. The space, where the light of the old iron train shed seems to pour in through the panoramic windows, has embraced the currents of art while still retaining the cool composure of a former station. Walking along walls where Monet's light, Degas's motion, and the flight of Van Gogh's brushstrokes seem to soar, one somehow recalls, faintly, the clamor of old trains. Upon the dark wooden floor, a moment of Paris seems to lie deeply buried. A breath of art stronger even than the Louvre's remains within this building.
