Where green raindrops drip steadily down the wall of night, walking along a quiet alley in Mitte, the light of a ceiling suddenly caught my eye. A stillness, as if descended from a church, slowly wraps the whole body, and it feels as though it has preserved intact the very air of the day, centuries ago, when Tetzel's sermons once flowed through. Footsteps walking upon a faded carpet give a sensation of walking through empty air, and beneath the low ceiling, the words of the man who once sold indulgences long ago seem to continue on. Visitors feel here as though they are crossing a river flowing through time, pausing for a moment at a window where light seeps in. This space, hidden in a corner of Mitte, is filled with a quiet mystery, having shed the weight of the Reformation.
