The building once erected by the educator Zhang Jian to embody his philosophy has now become a space where scenery and culture come together. The tidy façade of the central building hints at its past as a place of learning devoted to science and art, while the Western-style building to the south becomes a crossing point of perspectives spanning time. The small garden holding native artifacts feels like a glimpse into a fragment of history hidden within nature. Walking among the buildings, visitors sense the atmosphere of a space where past and present exist in harmony.
