Following the stone path that winds through the old streets of Arles, a space enclosed by high walls gradually comes into view. This building, once a convent of a holy order, unfolds quietly without any sense of emptiness, as if time itself had been lulled to sleep. Having left the streets of Paris for this quiet town, walking through a space where Picasso's drawings mingle with Jacques Réattu's paintings feels like past and present crossing paths. The breeze flowing over the old wooden floor seems to follow the whispers within the paintings. Here, it is not an exhibition but the emotion left behind by one person's life that seeps into visitors' hearts.
