Stepping into the tall hall, heavily borne up by an iron ceiling of vehicles, one's steps flow slowly between the armed power of the past and the stillness of the present. The powerful silhouette of a tank fills the room like the embodiment of a blazing era, and the light seeping through the windows of the Renault FT-17 seems to gently wrap the memories of war clad in steel. Each fragment of this record seems to still be trying to raise its voice even in the stillness, drawing visitors into a space where past and present intersect. The visitor's footsteps seem to shake off, through the senses, the gaps of history filled along the iron frame. This is a place where, after the war has ended, both victory and defeat lie sleeping.
