Once the home of a married couple, this is now a place where the chill and warmth of accumulated time coexist within its walls. Beneath old stone walls and ceiling, the faint stillness of Paris mingles with the breath of life seeping through. In rooms divided by Louis XV and Louis XVI style, Impressionist works and Viking-era relics quietly await mention. Traces left by unknown painters and the flow of light layered over wood blend together, giving a sense as real as if the owner of the house were sitting right beside you. Within the stillness of the old building, the displayed sculptures and paintings live on naturally, without any awkwardness.
