A building casually encountered on quiet ground on the outskirts of Moscow holds within it the voice of steel plating that has drifted across battlefields since long ago. Between heavy iron columns and narrow windows, the shapes of armored vehicles spanning eras leave behind a resonance. In this space, where the ambitions of war and the traces of technology have accumulated layer upon layer, no unfamiliar breeze seems to stir at any moment. Unusual forms like the German Maus super-heavy tank and the Trojanov super-heavy tank seem to float weightlessly within the darkness, while above them the cool, sharp lines of a Tiger II command vehicle make the flow of time feel all the more accelerated. Visitors walk among the vehicles, coming face to face with the weight of a forgotten history that cannot be touched by hand.
