A museum located inside the Château de Chantilly, France

About

At the end of the old street of Chantilly that once slowly unfolded, the worn teal-colored door of the Musée Condé awaited its visitors. The arches and windows left by the lineage of Louis-Philippe carry traces of accumulated time, and among them Fra Angelico's Madonna and Raphael's paintings glow quietly in the dimness. Light faintly crosses the room, and the eye following the pages of illuminated manuscripts is drawn somewhere unknown. The room holding Ingres's signed painting and paintings by Nicolas Poussin falls as silent as an ancient cathedral in the dead of night. Standing there, as though embraced by a mysterious stillness where the wind of history's gap seems to whisper, visitors sink into the flow of time.
