That place, holding the moment ancient Egyptian relics were quietly unveiled within a faint light, is a space steeped in a stillness that seems to defy the flow of time. Like the dust that once settled over the granite walls in the days of the Government-General of Chōsen, the remnants of an old touch leave shadows within the framework of the architecture. The soft luster of relics brought from Central Asia draws the visitor's eye, as if the dawn of a distant past still continues into today. Within a building relocated from the Government-General building, the relics on display remain motionless, like a story that has held its breath, and within that stillness, many truths reveal themselves one by one. Toward the light carved into stones older than a thousand years, visitors briefly forget their own sense of time and lend an ear to the breath of the past.
