The moment one opens the door and steps in, a space unfolds with the building's skeleton left exposed, as if walking through a tunnel into the future. The exterior, clad in metal and glass, reflects light, and the illumination flowing within creates a visual current that seems to run along the ceiling. Beneath this high ceiling, visitors get the sense that many forms of contemporary art are unfolding before them. In the exhibition halls of the Musée National d'Art Moderne, the currents of 20th-century art flow softly, and within them, works of abstract art and constructivism seem to quietly converse with one another.
