The first thing that caught the eye was the atmosphere of sunlight settling down through the indigo glass ceiling. The single-story brick building offers cool shade, and the scenery unfolding beyond the garden is as still and complete as a classical painting. The sculptures placed in the courtyard tell their stories in a low voice, holding onto a beauty that remains unchanged with time. Among the standout Impressionist masterpieces, one work in particular kept its silence, wrapped in the light seeping through a convex windowpane. Walking among the architecture and sculpture, the garden and its side paths, one becomes absorbed in the flow of a space where past and present blend into one.
