The moment you push the door open, a breath of time revealed from within the earth welcomes visitors. Light flows slowly between layered glass and stone, reflecting the faint glow of ancient ruins. What catches the eye are the painted artifacts from the Chūta Tomb, unearthed during excavation, their surfaces showing forms that remain vivid even in the dark. The smell of soil rising up from underground fills the air, and each exhibition space conveys, intact, traces of a life that seems as if it could still dwell underground. As your steps slow, you come to feel who once stood on this land and what lives once passed through it, the stillness of that era remaining fully intact in the layered exhibition rooms.
