A museum located in Jongno-gu, Seoul Special City, Republic of Korea.

About

The building, erected in an alley once home to old hanok houses, has now become a space steeped in a thousand years of Tibetan art and East Asian sensibility. As soft lighting brushes across the thangka paintings, color and form unfold like a still surface of water within deep silence. Among the Hanbit Cultural Foundation's collection, what stands out especially are the mysterious Tibetan paintings and the harmonious forms of medicine jars. In this space where the thangka's soft coloring coexists with ornate European medicine jars, time flows quietly, crossing the boundary between East and West. With every glance, visitors feel as though they stand at a crossroads where past and present connect.
