Beneath the glass windows of what was once an ancient timber workshop, Vienna's clouds drift past thin limestone walls. The staircase stretching along the hall reveals the layered strata of time, and natural light flowing along the floor reflects off the worn ceiling above. Like the heart of the familiar Amalienburg within the palace's shadow, the walls of the Schweizerhof carry an unbroken flow linking past and present.
