A museum located in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

About

This building was constructed in 1867 as Heineken's first brewery and served as the company's main brewing facility until 1988, when production outgrew the capacity of the historic structure. In 1991, after part of the complex was demolished, the remaining building opened to the public as the "Heineken Reception and Information Centre." It was renamed the "Heineken Experience" in 2001, and underwent a major renovation in 2008 that reorganized it into four floors. Visitors move through a space that combines historical artifacts, explanations of the brewing process, interactive multimedia displays, and tastings, encountering Heineken's history and brand along the way.
