Walking along a quiet alley in the Moji district, an unfamiliar scene comes into view. A black iron gate opens, still holding the atmosphere of a bygone era, and as soon as you step inside, shadow and sound wrap around you with a warmth that feels somehow familiar. Within a space layered with the lingering presence of the railway, soft modern light drifts past a bygone ticket window. Rather than the structure of complex machinery, there is a resonance the moment you take a single step, as if that flow slowly wraps around the body. Passing through the exhibition rooms, traces of the rail lines and train models standing like figures flow quietly by, as if whispering of times gone. Filled not with complex technology but with fragments left by the breath of the people of that era, this place feels as if a hand from the past is reaching out toward the present.
