Pushing open the door, a space where concrete and wood come into harmony slowly unfolds. The architecture, taking the form of a hanok while carrying a modern sensibility, evokes a mood as if past and present intersect. Walking along the long corridor leading to the central hall, traces of the Paleolithic era and the faint light of Goryeo celadon seem to join hands within the flow of time. The lighting flowing through each exhibition hall adds to the stillness of the relics, creating an atmosphere that seems to lead visitors back into the past. Ceramics bearing traces of the Sinan shipwreck relics and traditional Honam pottery sit quietly, and the air flowing between them offers a stillness like that of turning the pages of an old book.
