About

Korea University Museum is a space that carries one back through time within the frame of a stone building, warm to the touch. Natural light flowing over desks stacked layer upon layer gently wraps around the texture of ancient ceramics, and quiet footsteps become a bridge connecting past and present. The exhibition hall holding the Honcheonsigye (armillary clock) and the Donggwoldo, both designated National Treasures, leaves an afterglow like the turning of a page. Passing through the corridor where Sim Sa-jeong's paintings hang, the blue glow of buncheong ware creates the illusion of being drawn into a landscape painting. Contemporary artworks, too, harmonize with the sentiment of the past, stirring a gentle ripple within the visitor's heart.
