A former Chinese restaurant building in Seollin-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon Metropolitan City.

About

At the heart of the Jjajangmyeon Museum stands the old kitchen where jjajangmyeon was first created. Traces layered onto the earthen walls and the scent of mingled vegetables still fill the air. In the memorial hall honoring Woo Hee-gwang's legacy, his life and the history of jjajangmyeon unfold as if traced by a flowing hand. The cups and bowls left on the tables still hold the breath of the people who once ate there. In every corner of the museum lingers an air as if steeped in the smell of jjajangmyeon. This building once drew people together over food, and now it draws people who come to explore that food's roots.
