About

Walking through the back alleys of Tokyo, you suddenly stop before a building whose exterior blends concrete and stone in harmony. The sky flowing above its low-slung roof seems to say that this is a space cut off from the flow of time. The light descending softly from the ceiling brushes across stone tablets and statues, and light and shadow resound along the roots of an exotic culture. Here, stone carvings symbolizing Egyptian gods and Mesopotamian paintings seem to flow along the concrete walls. It feels as though you are walking through a mysterious place that has stood on this land since long ago.
