A space where the wings of early aircraft built by Clément Ader and Louis Blériot stand at the center, catching the light as if lulled to sleep. In a glass display case bathed in added light, the original pendulum of Léon Foucault seems to trace a slow movement, calling to mind a flow of time that crosses the boundary between science and art. The metal surface of Pascal's calculator, having weathered long years, creates a stillness as if holding its breath. Even as the air of Paris outside the windows lightly brushes through the museum's interior, the movements of the pendulum and the aircraft still continue within an eternal stillness.
