About

The interior space, where the force of the structure seems to push up against the ceiling, is a poetic extension of time unfolding toward an aesthetic of spread wings. Standing at the center, multiple airplane models pass through the air without a sound, like rocket exhaust dispersing, stopping visitors' footsteps in their tracks. Beyond the glass walls, the sky glimpsed through seems to announce the beginning of a momentary journey toward the stars. Among the sculptural forms cutting through the void, the Kawasaki Ki-61 in particular holds a unique record, quietly opening its eyes in an earth-toned void. Inside the exhibition hall, no clear sound can be heard, but within that empty space lingers a silence as though the weight of life had accumulated there.
