About

As you push the door open and step inside, the interior of the building, built of colored brick, is as quiet as a stage of time that has slumbered since long ago. The floor, laid with handmade tiles, creates a flow as though revealing treasure buried underground. In the gaps where light scatters across intricately patterned doorways and railings, ancient Egyptian mascara and East Asian metal ornaments hold a faint curiosity just a few steps away from one another. Along the low walls, the stems and lines of carvings flow, and fragments of an unknown world here and there occasionally hold their breath, tempting the visitor onward. By the time you reach that point, the end of the exploration had already become a beginning.
