About
This building, whose height and breadth seem to restore the very landscape of a bygone era, expands with a stillness as if time itself had stopped. Light descending beneath the roof of mixed concrete and wood seeps warmly into every corner of the street, giving the feeling that the old street at the eastern edge of the castle wall still remains intact. Along this artificially recreated street, weathered wooden doors stand open at every building, and the footsteps of those who venture inside feel drawn out and long. Deep shadows linger over the street like a windowless warehouse, and within those shadows the footsteps of people long gone still seem to echo. Those who walk through the museum, as if becoming residents of that era, find their own way forward amid the street's disorienting maze.
