Walking slowly forward, you come to a stop before the scene where Turner's Raby Castle fills a frame set into the wall. The light descending from the golden-hued window brushes over Canova's The Three Graces, stirring a longing to drift off somewhere. The sound of footsteps on the old wooden floor flows quietly, and paintings such as Constable's Flatford Mill, placed here and there, convey the very mood of open-air scenery as if felt firsthand.
