The building, covered in red brick and standing quietly even amid the passage of time, was once the heart of the silk industry, where a thousand or so female workers once moved their hands. The long passage crossing the building's interior connects as intricately as the silk-making process itself, and the faint scent of the old spinning machines carries the space back to long ago. The wide windows hanging from the ceiling turn light into shadow with the movement of the sun, and that shadow flowing slowly across the floor hints that time from the past still remains here. Here, each facility feels not like mere architecture but a space imbued with industrial history and human effort. Now that the sound of the spinning machines has stopped, this land speaks to visitors only through the way it weaves time and hope.
