Light flowing over the glass panels covering the roof — once an exhibition hall for the Great Exhibition — now holds the stillness of time flowing through a landscape of iron and glass. Paxton's modular design naturally expands the space, keeping visitors' gazes in constant motion. The light flowing along the glass windows passes precisely toward some destination, yet its direction can never be predicted, as if quietly advancing toward some moment of the future. This structure, designed by Paxton, has become not merely a framework but a space holding the passion and imagination of an era. Those who walk here today pass through the gap where past and present intersect, carrying with them, unforgotten, some flow of time.
