About
A place in Busan where the streets flow with the sound of old stone walls and railway tracks, where the walls of an old building still carry a chill as if bruised by history. Stepping inside that building, time approaches step by step as if opening a heavy iron door. Climbing the stairs laid with concrete and marble is enough to conjure the past. Upon entering the first exhibition hall, the various stages through which modern Busan flowed unfold before your eyes, and within a space that still bears traces of the Oriental Development Company, history reveals itself coldly. Among the exhibits are photographs and documents recording Busan under Japanese colonial rule, and over those old traces lies a stillness accumulated over a long time. Visitors face a moment as if being awakened to a forgotten truth, and feel a desire to go even one step deeper.
