A museum in Shōtō, Japan.
About
This glass building, of a rare structure, stands tall like a fortress wall even at the heart of the city at night, and within it, light flows slowly through square and circular windows, spreading along the floor and walls. Even beneath its high ceiling, the museum holds a subtle atmosphere as if wrapped in a warm darkness, and climbing past floors where music and theater pass through, a space opens up mingled with an exotic scent as if carried by a passing wind. This is not a simple exhibition space but a place that leads visitors into a flow of time in which art comes to life. Here, painting, music, and language dissolve the boundaries between one another, drawing visitors into a network of the senses. Within this building where sound, color, and form intersect, art holds a depth of emotion beyond mere visual experience.
