About
The Boboli Gardens were built by Cosimo I of the Medici family for his wife, Eleonora, unfolding a space where stone-carved fountains and a quiet atmosphere come together. The moment the shadow of the stone covers the fallen leaves, it feels as though the wind once carried through this ancient garden fills the space once more. Light seeping beneath the arches leaves the traces of sculpture, shining quietly amid the light flowing over exotic plants. This place, where art and nature blend together, lets you feel the flow of time, and the tone created by ancient sculpture and garden slowly guides the visitor's footsteps. Now and then, if you prick up your ears, the breath left by the sculptor's fingertips seeps in, heard within the landscape.
