About

The moment one opens the door and steps in, a familiar light flows slowly along the ceiling. In the Hall of Mirrors, a gleaming statue of Apollo carries a tone that seems to resound out of the darkness. Symbols of the Sun King are carved everywhere, and for a moment one feels as if they too have become a fragment of that golden age. Droplets from the fountain cut across the ceiling along with the breath of night, and their sound resonates quietly, like the breathing of a sleeping palace. As Apollo, within the ceiling's painted canvas, drives his chariot past, candlelight glimmers and masses of light continue on, following the visitor's footsteps.
