This building, preserving intact the frame of a former train station, was once a space that opened its heavy iron doors to exchange with the outside world. Now, however, it has become a quiet station of time, holding the atmosphere of the ancient world. Faint light flows along the concrete and stone, and within the shadows, sculptures and ceramics of centuries past raise their heads. This building is not merely an exhibition space, but a mysterious boundary where past and present intersect, an observer watching over the moment art meets life. Visitors feel as though ancient voices flow along the floor, and pause for a moment within the flow of time.
