This building was originally a public space where citizens held meetings and conducted trade, but over time it became a space steeped in art and history. The refinement of the Renaissance is inscribed throughout the building, so that past and present seem to intersect with every step. In particular, the restored loggia creates a flow of stillness, as if sunlight were slowly drifting through it. Here, the precision of architecture touched by Palladio's hand still lives on, and the brick and stone infused with his touch, though silent, carry a stillness as if having watched over long stretches of time. As the visitor passes through this space, they come to feel not merely a building, but a flow of emotion descending along the passage of time.
