The moment you push open the door and step inside, you seem to be drawn into a hall with a soaring ceiling. The walls, enclosed within the gallery wing of the Zwinger, are filled with paintings depicting scenes of the Renaissance. Madonnas and mythological scenes painted by Italian Renaissance masters welcome visitors within a stillness that makes them forget time.
