The moment one opens the door and steps in, stained glass windows flowing beneath the high ceiling seem to gently wrap around the visitor. Walking along the visitor route, light and shadow seem to dance softly over the stone path marked by the footsteps of popes. The walls, holding long stretches of time, retain the low voices of popes and the whispers of priests who once passed through here. On one wall stands a statue inscribed with the name 'Clement V,' quiet and steadfast, while elsewhere light softly falls upon paper that seems to unfold like an ancient document. Visitors, feeling as though they have returned to the past, are drawn by an urge to linger long within this space.
