About the Exhibition

This is 'Take One Picture 2026,' themed around Canaletto's 'A Regatta on the Grand Canal.' It presents creative works made by children across the UK inspired by the painting. The exhibition reinterprets a classic work of art through children's eyes, offering a chance to explore art through their imagination and questions. The featured works were made at 35 state schools, and the exhibition is held at the Rodin Centre for Creative Learning. Highlights include the many creative works children made based on the painting's towering buildings, underwater world, the racers' attire, and the atmosphere of the racecourse.
