About the Exhibition

This exhibition presents a comprehensive artistic exploration themed on language, borders, and power structures. Titled What Still Holds, it addresses the flow of truth and information and humanity's response to it. The main work, Truth, is a sculptural installation made of giant letters, questioning how truth is protected or concealed. This work explores the relationship between language and power, emphasizing that social progress depends on protecting and questioning truth. The exhibition engages in dialogue with Joseph Beuys and the Marx Collection, sharing an artistic approach to language, participation, and social reflection. It comprises 10 works in total, including works made from 2006 to today. In particular, 100 Hand-Drawn Maps of My Country and Someone Else – A Library of 100 Books Written Anonymously or Under Pseudonyms offer visitors deep reflection on individual and collective identity and the ways information is transmitted.
