About the Exhibition

Responding to the Seoul Museum of Art's 2026 exhibition agenda of 'technology,' this exhibition broadly surveys some 60 years of work by veteran American media artist and filmmaker Lynn Hershman Leeson (b. 1941). The artist's first museum solo exhibition in Asia — following major solo shows at institutions such as the New Museum and Germany's ZKM — presents work that has explored the relationship between humans and technology, identity, and surveillance, examining the impact of artificial intelligence and digital technology on human identity and society, and posing questions about the coexistence of humans and technology in the age of AI.
